Wow that was some busy wallpaper! It looks so much better already, I’m sure it will be wonderful when you are done. You are right,the woodwork really pops now without all that competition from the wallpaper.

Removing wallpaper is a lot of work! I have a really hard time with paint colors too! I love how you can buy the samples now. I think I went through 6 samples before I decided on what color to paint my kitchen.

So very nice that they just wallpapered the walls and didn’t paint that gorgeous woodwork!! That would’ve been extremely difficult to remove!!!
The woodwork is gorgeous! You just don’t get that anymore.
I think the ‘new’ colors are green and brown (like blue and brown was a few years ago). That might work for a boys room??
Lowe’s has the tiny cans of paint (about $3.00) that actually paint a fairly large area so you can test colors without buying an entire bucket of paint. We did that with our upstairs and I’m so glad we did. The first 3 colors were awful!!!
Can’t wait to see the pictures when you’re done!

That is very pretty! Maybe look at yard sales or consignment shops or close-out places for a few wicker or metal chairs or love seat with some outdoor fabric and outdoor rug for spring/summer. For Christmas maybe metal/plastic Christmas packages or a manger scene??
So many ideas…just finding the items (& cost) to limit the imagination!
What a great place for summer tea parties for the girls!

Choosing a birthday “color” instead of a “theme” was suggested to me several years ago (when I had one toddler) and I’ve LOVED how cute pictures turn out when the cake, kids and relatives (told what color beforehand) are all the same color!!
